What Is Visual Communication?

Visual communication can be hard to define, and we as a field of creatives don’t like to be boxed in! Whatever medium we work in — website, poster, infographic, app, ad, or so much more — visual communicators use modern and traditional tools and creativity to convey a message to a target audience. And visual communicators are in demand; for example, digital design is a career with faster-than-average growth (13%) predicted over the next decade.

An Education For Everyone

We know that no two Visual Communication students are alike. Whether online or in-person, classes are made up of students working at different paces toward different goals.

Your classmates’ diversity in background, age, perspective, and experience — combined with your unique identity — creates an engaging and supportive environment where you can experiment and grow toward your career.

Why ACC Visual Communication Is Right for You
